What is the difference between the city slip and the admit card?

City information (city slip)	Admit card
What it tells you	Only the city of your exam centre	Your centre, date, roll number and the exam-day instructions
When (NORCET 11)	3 September 2026	9 September 2026
Use it for	Booking travel and a stay	Entering the exam and handing over after the CBT

The city comes first so you can plan travel. Notice 103/2026 says centres are spread across India and any request to change the allotted centre "will be summarily rejected".

How do I download the NORCET admit card?

1. Go to aiimsexams.ac.in and log in with the registration ID you applied with.
2. Open your dashboard for the NORCET cycle.
3. Download the admit card when the link is live, and check your name, photo, roll number, centre and date.
4. Print it on A4. Print at least two copies.

Why two copies: clause 17 of the notice says you must hand your admit card to the invigilator after the exam, "failing which" your performance "will not be considered". But the NORCET-11 allocation brochure later asks for the admit cards of both Stage I and Stage II, with your signature, as allotment documents. Keep a signed copy of each stage for yourself.

Is there a separate admit card for NORCET Stage II?

Yes. Stage I and Stage II are separate CBTs, and the allocation brochure lists "Admit Card having Candidate Signature for Both NORCET-11 Stage I & II" among the required documents. Only candidates called to Stage II get the Stage II admit card.

What happens on NORCET exam day?

1. Reach early. The reporting time and gate-closing time are printed on your admit card. Follow them exactly.
2. Carry the admit card and the photo ID the admit card asks for. Read the instructions section on the card itself; it sets what you may carry.
3. Biometrics are taken. Notice 103/2026 (clause 29) says the biometric data captured during the exam is used to verify identity at appointment. A mismatch can cancel the appointment.
4. Expect locked sections. Stage I has 100 questions in 90 minutes, as five sections of 20 questions with 18 minutes each. Stage II has 160 questions in 180 minutes, as four sections of 40 questions with 45 minutes each. A section closes automatically when its time ends and does not come back.
5. Hand over the admit card to the invigilator before you leave.

For how to use the locked sections, see the NORCET Mains strategy.

Does an admit card mean I am eligible?

No. Notice 103/2026 (clause 23) says admit cards are issued provisionally, on the details you gave in the form, without verification. Your qualification, category, experience and NOC are checked later, at document verification. A wrong claim can cancel your candidature even after the exam.

When will the NORCET 12 admit card come?

AIIMS has not announced it yet. NORCET 12 Stage I is on 10 April 2027, according to AIIMS's 2027 calendar. If AIIMS repeats the NORCET 11 gaps, the exam city would come out around 1 April and the admit card around 7 April 2027. Treat these as projections until the NORCET 12 notice gives the dates.

What if there is a mistake on my admit card?

Check it the day it is released. Use the query or support option in your AIIMS login straight away, and keep a screenshot. Notice 103/2026 does not allow corrections to the application by email or letter, so do not wait until exam day.
