Third year brings the specialties: child health, mental health, community health and midwifery. They decide a big part of your university result and your NORCET score.

Specialties to master

Child Health covers growth and development, newborn care and IMNCI. Mental Health covers disorders, therapies and communication. Community Health covers national health programmes and epidemiology, which are asked every year in government exams.

Study method

Learn milestones and immunisation schedules as tables
Keep a list of national health programmes with their launch year and aims
Practise image-based questions for newborn and paediatric topics
Keep revising 1st and 2nd year alongside

Planning for final year
